First Entry to Blogster in Friendster

Been a long time since I’ve actually blogged, but it doesn’t hurt to start all over again. Loads of things happened of course. It’s been 3 years since I’ve actually blogged. So…time to start again. Lol.

Here I am, in an office, blogging with my friend’s account (Thanks Di!). It’s boring here, guess tomorrow’s my last day in this company. I’m going off to somewhere else to work! One thing is boring life in this office, with no internet access. It’s getting on my nerves. Another, I can’t stand the boss’ non-smiling days. I can’t stand it! Phew!

I’ve managed to contact Natasha from Tonga whom I knew from an exchange programme 3 years ago. She is happily married now, and studying in Fiji. Unbelievable! She’s around my age I guess, maybe 1 year younger. But I’m glad she’s happily married to a man who loves her. :) Good luck and all the best Natasha!

I’ve also gotten into Singapore’s University. Can’t wait for my school days/campus days to actually start. Ironically, I actually miss schooling. I guess absence really made the heart grows fonder…In this case, for school life. Maybe working just doesn’t give me the thrill that I get in campus especially when I’m dancing. I want to dance for free, no worries about cash and stuff. That will be so cool. Anyhow, dance seems like a drug to me, I can never get off it. One try got me addicted. Even if I tried to forget it, my body will somehow feel the rhythm and make me want to stand up to groove to any music. Tsk tsk, the poison of music. Guess I’m a sucker for music and groove. I’m a music slave, unable to survive without music.

Ok, back to my school thingy. NTU’s not my ideal school though, NUS is, but I doubt I can enter NUS with my results. Glad that I can get into any University in Singapore, anything to further my studies. Can’t believe that I’m actually going to be a teacher, but somehow, I find joy in teaching. Maybe it’s the power of knowledge, I’ll even teach for free if need to. Hope that will be my calling.

Music recommendation time! Well, to all bloggers, the CDs worth buying is Leona Lewis’ Spirit and Daughtry’s Home. They’re really great. Now I’m a super fan of theirs. Well, maybe not, but enough to keep listening to their music. So if you chance upon it, why not get it. Leona Lewis has great vocal range and she gives me this free spirit feel with her voice. Furthermore, her songs make you want to sing along. Let’s not forget her singing ‘live’ in American Idol. Famous song- "Bleeding Love". Who can forget that? And of course, the production of the ever so critic Simon Cowell. But I can’t deny Leona’s stage presence and voice.

Daughtry? Well, Daughtry’s in a whole new world of their own-rock. They play meaningful songs by means of rock and not miss out the meanings they had behind all their songs. Their songs doesn’t really capture anyone’s heart just of yet when you first listen to them. I’m one of them, thinking it’s too rock for me, but after careful listening, i realised they’re not just "typical" rock band. Not to mention, the visit they pay to Africa, singing their song-"What About Now" among the poor, just touches hearts like an angel. So that’s all folks, for music scoops!
